Damien Drake is an artist hailing from New York. With a passion for capturing the essence of individuals through portraiture, Damien has established a distinct artistic style that blends lifelike representation with captivating textures. 

His portraits convey the intricacies of the human form, capturing the subject's personality and emotions…some through his own photographs.

In addition to painting Damien also contributes to the live art scene where you may have seen him over the past 15 years performing throughout the New York City area or on one of his Europe jaunts performing under his alter ego “Too Tall”.

In a past life he got paid to interview rock stars for Vh1 Classic, so some of the images you see ie. Stevie Nicks, Michael Stipe, BB King and Willie Nelson were all painted from images Damien captured while interviewing them.
